BY hiring, managing and mentoring a team with deadlines and resources that would bring out their natural talents
THE IDEA
As the Editor in Chief of Souvenirs Magazine, I hired a completely fresh staff of writers, editors, designers and leaders. I motivated them in writing about seeing the world during a global pandemic when travel was forbidden and print material was unwelcome. Under my leadership, my team published two print magazines, one digital magazine, and over 30 blog posts related to discovering oneself from venturing into the unknown.

RESULTS
In addition to publishing and distributing two print issues, I also lead our team into a full transition online during the COVID-19 pandemic. These were the first two issues to be published while fully remote.

Our magazine was also the FIRST Souvenirs issue to feature our very own comic strips! We had a talented illustrator on our team who was inspired to create a few, and they added pops of color and humor to our pages.
